Anti bullying week is held in the UK in the third week in November each year.
Founded by the Anti-Bullying Alliance in 2004, it is a week of events and awareness raising to help stamp out bullying in schools, the workplace, online and in fact in any situation.
While the main focus is on schools and the effects of bullying on young people, it's powerful message includes everybody who may experience bullying. The official website of the campaign can be found at anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk, where teachers can download free resources. You can also buy anit-bullying merchendise and find advice for parents and carers on handling bullying.
