Harvest Festival
Harvest Festival is a time when cultures all around the world celebrate and give thanks for a successful harvest.
In the northern hemisphere it is usually celebrated between late August and early October. This may take the form of special church services or social events such as a Harvest supper.
Harvest Thanksgiving Day itself is usually celebrated on the Sunday closest to the Harvest Moon, while many parades, festivals and services occur on other days around the same date.
