Paddington Bear Printable Wordsearch

Paddington Bear is on of the most popular characters in English children's literature. The Paddington Bear Books, written by Michael Bond were first published in 1958 and their popularity has continued ever since.
In the 1970's they were turned into a hugely popular stop-motion animated series for children, and the recent Paddington I and II movies have brought a whole new audience for the bear from darkest Peru.
To celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, Paddington starred with Her Majesty in a short sketch, where she revealed that, like Paddington, she liked to have a marmalade sandwich with her at all times, "for emergencies". Whilst Paddington always keeps his sandwich in his hat, The Queen finally revealed the purpose of her legendary handbag - that was where her sandwich was secreted!
When Queen Elizabeth passed away later in 2022, Paddington became a symbol of both mourning and happy memories of the Queen, and toys and marmalade sandwiches were laid in her memory alongside the more usual flowers.
